    Reverse polarity on 07' 60hp Merc outboard

    1C041913. I have since tested for power from the ignition at the solenoid. No voltage. Next step is the ignition to make sure I'm getting voltage in the on & start position. Does this sound correct?

    Reverse polarity on 07' 60hp Merc outboard

    I abscent mindedly reverse connected my battery a couple weeks ago. Blew the 20a fuse at the front of the engine and a 25a fuse at the regulator. The main 50a fuse at the battery did not blow. I've replaced the diode along with the regulator. Still nothing when I turn the key. No engine alarm...
