I recently got a computer so I dont know alot about using it. This was one of the first sites i visited and I am very impressed. The first question I posted on the discussion board I got a reply within 15 mins. You guys are worth having a computer. I live on the east fork of the white river and depend on my outboard as much or more than my car so I know if I have a problem with it Im sure someone on this site will be to the rescue. Im just an old river rat and I hope I could help someone out ithe future. I dont know what the requirements are to regester but I am going to moniter this site very regular whether I have a problem or not I know or already have learned alot. Again THANKS ALOT you guys are the best.

I was cleaning up
my inbox tonight and stumbled across this message and it reminded me
that I was going to send you an email of thanks. I received the manual
during the week, ahead of time and in excellent condition and guess
what it’s been a great help already. I just wanted to say thanks for
everything, the assistance you provided saved me time and money and
allowed me to choose more wisely, and for that I say thanks. Many people
are quick to bag a company when something goes pear shaped but never
utter a word of thanks when all turns out well, I would like to change
that.

under motors wanted .I have had one favorable response. At this time
i am awaiting e photos of this engine. Since you have taken the time
to write, I must say what a phenomenal job someone is doing on these
particular sites. I already have purchased many engine and boat items
that would not be readily available to me otherwise.

I am glad I found
your website. I resently asked a question about my motor and
got very helpful answers. I also know ordering the manuals for my motor
(owners and service) will also answer alot of questions about my motor.
It will most
likely save me a few dollars being able to do some of the work and maintenance
myself.

engines 1985...

Several months ago
I saw on your site a Grey Fireball 90. I had completed a restoration
of a small antique raceboat several years ago but had to put it up because
I could not find a period "hot" motor. Having looked all over
the country to no avail I was surprised to find one your site. To make
a long story short, I contacted the owner,sent a check sight unseen
and was happy with the motor that I recieved. Thanks for providing this
site for all of us marine motor heads .

just wanted to thank-you for helping me find the engine I have been looking
for. For the past few months I have been running an ad for a Kermath Sea
Wolf. I even talked to you on the phone and you re-entered it for me after
it had expired. After further research I realized that engine was too
big
for my needs, so I changed my ad to looking for a Scripps F4, within one
day
I was contacted by seller who had one. I ended up purchasing it for $500,
it
was complete and he even delivered it. One made it especially good was
prior
to that one the only other F4 I could find was in NY and he wouldn't take
less than $4500 and it wasn't in any better condition. So again thanks
for
your invaluable service, I couldn't have done it without you! If you need
any testimonials please feel free to use me, I could't be more happy or
satisfied. I have also turned two of my other friends on to your site.

Andrew,
(I) have a wonderful story to tell, relating to the effectiveness of your
web site. An elder family friend , who lives on a local island, had an
old boat in the yard that his wife had asked him to "get rid of".
I happened along as he was scratching his head, figuring out how to dispose
of this "junk". I offered to place an ad on your website, and
as a result, he got rid of his"junk", gained several hundred
dollars, made me the hero and best of all some where in the east coast,
there are three Palmer engines now restored from spare parts. It doesn't
get any better. (Actually it does, he also had some commercial fishing
gear that I helped him sell. Now the yard is clean, he has spare cash,
and "She who must be obeyed" is pleased). Hope your site lives
long and prospers.

Scripps, some responses were almost immediate. I am a believer in

You're not going to believe this, but if you ever wanted a testimonial
- here it is!:
Posted my ad late afternoon. Less than 23 hours later, the deal was done!
The buyer drove 5 hours to my home, checked out the engine, put cash in
my pocket and drove away - all in less than 23 hours of posting! Nice
work, and thanks for your help sizing the picture and posting it. (wish
I had more engines).
I will go in and delete my ad a little later, unless you want to put a
big SOLD IN 23 HOURS! banner on it.

century 2 cy. Gray engine; however, after only a couple of weeks I got

I will say thank you again for your input, and for welcoming me to the
sight, and I really do check it every day, hopefully I can find some help
on this motor, it was gotten from a friend and it runs like new, I don't
think it has seen a lot of use but it will now as I am an avid fisherman.
