Recoil Spring for Johnson Evinrude Outboard

Johnson Evinrude recoil springLower horsepower rope start engines have a wound flat spring inside the starting mechanism that rewinds the starter rope after each pull. It can be a little bit tricky to install one of these springs, so you might want to consult a service manual for the proper procedure.
