(5) General Motors has changed the V-6 and V-8 cylinder block and crankshaft to incorporate a one-piece full circle rear seal.
For this change to be made, General Motors had to redesign the cylinder block and crankshaft discontinuing the earlier style
engines. Mercury has added engine coupler # 14505-A2 (18-2172) to compensate for this change in design.
