Quicksilver Grease Product Line Simplified
Quicksilver greases have gone through a makeover. The product line has been simplified to eliminate confusion about which grease to use in what
application. The line has been reduced from six types of grease to three. Below is a summary of the consolidation:
2‑4‑C Marine Grease � No change
Needle Bearing Assembly Grease � Now called Assembly Grease. The formula has not changed but the packaging has. Instead of 8 oz tubes, the
product now comes in 1lb tubs.
Special 101 � Replaced by 2‑4‑C Marine Grease
U‑Joint and Gimbal Bearing Lubricant � Replaced by Extreme Grease
Anti‑Corrosion Grease ‑ Replaced by Extreme Grease
Engine Coupler/Spline Grease ‑ Replaced by Extreme Grease
2-4-C MARINE LUBRICANT & CARTRIDGE GUN
MARINE GREASE
Quicksilver 2‑4‑C Marine Grease with PTFE is a high quality, extremely
versatile lithium‑based, NLGI 2 grease that won t break down when
mixed with water. It also has:
Excellent resistance to oxidation and degradation
Extreme pressure additives to withstand friction in a wide variety of
operations and temperatures
Replaces Quicksilver Special 101 Lubricant part number 92-802865Q02
For use in the following marine applications:
Steering systems/cable linkages
Throttle and shift cables and linkages
Remote controls
Cartridge gun and one 3 oz.(85 g) cartridge.
Prop shafts
Priced individually, sold @ multiples of 4

Tilt lock mechanisms/tilt tube
