Just repowered my 24 ft boat with new 350cu. GM engine. Thinking of installing a fresh water cooling system or a Volvo neutra-salt system any thoughts or advice |

get the fresh water unit, less work in the long run
neutra-salt system wont be doing its job while your running the engine. |

If you plan to boat exclusively in fresh water then I wouldn't waste my money on a FWC system--the motor will need rebuilding before it corrodes away. (Raw water engines in fresh water last 20 years plus.) But if you're in that nasty salt water, put one on ASAP before the rust starts to build inside the block and heads, or rust will clog your new heat exchanger.

I have a 1971 seaswirl with a 90hp inboard with some weird cooling hose set up and clue as to the proper set up is , it's over heating |
