I bought a Glass Magic 15 foot fiberglass two-seater serial # 604309- plate says "performance rated exclusive $50,000 hull. Max H.P. is not stamped, so am unsure of maxium H.P. for her. I have a 60 H.P. Evinrude on her right now, but need to know if that is too much.

have tried that all over the place-it's almost as if Glass Magic doesn't exist! Have a 12 foot Dorsett, don't have any problems locating info about that manufacturer, in fact the one I have turns out to be pretty rare. Just wondered if 16 foot was too small for a 60 H.P. Looked at some of the other questions/posts on here, saw one guy who had a 60 H.P. on a 12 footer, so may give it a try. Think I might have to beef up the transum some though

did that but the site is "under construction" I have used them before, and they're pretty good! Thanks for the input. Will keep checking in with Fiberglassics, in the meantime may go ahead and mount the Evinrude and give it a spin.

you may wann check with the web site owner - may be able to put you in touch with others "in your boat". Their FAQ section used to have the HP vs dimesions of your boat formula - give you an idea if your ok or asking for trouble.
