Old varnish smell /Fuel, Oil ?

Author Message   joe p New member Username: doubleleo Post Number: 3 Registered: 07-2009 Posted on Sunday, July 05, 2009 - 11:15 pm:    Have real strong oder in boat smells like old fuel smell kinda like oil/varnish, tanks are new, bilge has old oil in it washed out already 3 times. Smell is intense. Simple green and elbow grease should get most of the residue/odor out - if it doesn't, you need to find and eliminate the source.
