Replaced volt regulator, replaced stator, tack and volt meter still will not work. regulator wires were burned when I replaced it. Need help

That means Absolutely Nothing to most of us here Tim,....
I'm just guessing it might be a # on your Boat.....Maybe the Motor....
Tell us more about What we're working on,+ Just exactly How it got to where you're at Now with it..... |

BONDO: Sorry 1995 mercury pro series tracker serial number OG161746 40 Hp Tack stopped working so did the volt meter, no charge, replaced volt regulator
and the stator still not working. Ends of wires on volt regulator were burned or schored. checked fused
lines, they are ok. The ser # OG161746 is a good number, some had trouble running it down Thanks for your time,
