Sorry,I put my post in the wrong message area earlier.
I have a Sea Prince Serial # 310055 and am trying to find its age, also where I might locate spare parts-specifically a complete carb that is missing.If I get that far I would be interested in the compression ratios.

I have a 1946 Matthews originally powered with Kermath Sea Chief engines. They were replaced with Perkins 6.354 normally aspirated diesels. The Perkins were apparently moved as far forward as possible to adjust for weight.
Can anyone give me the weight of the Kermath Sea Chief engines?
