DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY WEB SITES THAT SHOW DIAGRAMS OR HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT A 1968 9.5 HP JOHNSON OUTBOARD MOTOR. I'M REBUILDING IT FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT. IT HAS NEVER BEEN REBUILT BEFORE. |

Sean..... You will need a manual. At the left of this page, go to Classified, then Outboards. You'll see a Manual For Sale listing there. Andrew may jump in here with a hyperlink that will take you directly to it.

Here is a link to the page to order a older Johnson manual. The service manual has all the specs, overhaul info, fuel system, ignition system, lower unit, etc.
I don't know of any sites that has all that information online.
There are also aftermarket manuals that cover the older Johnson motors... they cover a variety of models over a range of years.
I would suggest that you print the information out and take it to your school librarian and ask him or her to buy the manual for the school library.
