I'm pretty new at this and I did place an ad, but this is the only one I placed. Can anyone give me any ideas or info to getting the word out, of what I have to sell, I would also be willing to trade. So far I've not had 1 response I found that odd. Thanks Steve 2001, |

Steve,
I took a look at your ad. I'm not sure why you haven't not gotten more response. You did have Evinrude mis-spelled which would prevent it coming up as a search result if someone searched or had an Auto-Notify set up. I have corrected the spelling in your ad.
One other thing you could do is post individual ads for each item or set of items, that might help it get noticed.
This site gets over 25,000 hits per day and the classifieds has been very successful at helping people buy and sell engines, but of course there are other ways to sell also. The Antique Outboard Motor Club has local chapters and generally has swap meets where people buy/sell/trade old outboards.

Also pictures always help sell an item...
If you don't have a digital camera you can take photos with a regular camera and have your local photo processing location develop them as prints and digital. They can put them on a CD and/or post them to a web site where you can get access to them.
You can post them with your ad yourself, or send them to me and I will do it.
