Hello all,
Newbie here needs help. Just got hold of a 1972 Larson 16' fiberglass tri-hull with 85 Hp Johnson. Boat has been out of water for about 2 yrs. Supposedly ran great when last used. When I start it up, the prop is always in forward no matter if I have it in Forward, Neutral, or Reverse!! Would like to use neutral and reverse occasionally :-) Any suggestions ??

the shift system does not have 12 volt power to it in forward ( spring loaded ).. For nuetral you need 12 volts to the green wire and for reverse you need 12 volts to the green wire and also 12 volts to the blue wire.The motor MUST be running in order to shift. |
