Hello, I have a Evinrude 90hp with model# E90TLCIH and the serial# J0001524. I would like to know the year of this motor and if the powerhead is the same as a 1976 85hp evinrude? i need to change a piston in the 90 and i have the 85 with a really good piston that i might be able to use if they are the same. |

Hi Bill, Your Motor is a 1981 Model. Not sure about the interchange of the 76' Model. Joe would surly know!

Bill.... The 1976 85hp Evin piston is OMC part number 387596. The 1981 90hp Evin piston is OMC part number 390981, superceeded up to OMC part number 393271. Sorry to say that they will not interchange.

i have an old johnson 80 super sea horse model v45l= 19r does anyone know anything about this motor. sn j2742576. it runs great seem to have low hrs. i would like to know what year and if i can get a lower unit fo it thanks |
