I bought 1976 ranken bowrider with volvo penta AQ-130A 4-cyl. gas engine and 280 outdrive, everything is volvo from instrument panel to outdrive installed from manufacter. The outdrive is in good condition, except power trim motor is weak, it will go down perfect but to raise you have to pick the foot and give a helping hand, so I will need one of these too. As far as the engine goes, I knew when I purchased it that the engine was locked up and was willing to rebuild it, but after searching parts for the engine, I have found some of the parts but having a time finding a exhaust manifold for it, the outdrive is no problem. If any one out there knows a person or supplier it would be helpful, and anyone with knowledge of this volvo penta drivetrain your thoughts would be welcomed. |
