I have a Norseman Z-Drive that uses a Universal engine made with a Hercules block. The Z-Drive Model No. is Z-140-R, Serial No. 140244.
The Hercules block is Model No. IXI B5M, Serial No. 3655857TC. The engine is 4 cylinder, gasoline powered and rated at 70 HP. It is bigger than
an Atomic four. I think they called it a Unimite but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find parts, gasket sets, etc.?

You could try Moyer Marine, Hansen Marine, Torressen Marine, and Jim Staib.

jim, the ixb5m block was used by Chris Craft as the model B for years parts are available from NAPA good lucl. |
