does any know what it would take to replace a broken reed valve on this motor and what parts would be needed and the amount of labor cost |

THE POWERHEAD HAS TO BE COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED. THE REED BLOCKS ARE MOUNTED ON THE CRANKSHAFT.YOU SHOULD RERING IT WHILE IT IS APART THAT FAR AND BUY A GASKET KIT. THERE ARE ALSO 3 OIL SEALS IN THE END CAPS THAT SHOULD BE REPLACED.TO DO THIS JOB PROPERLY WILL TAKE BETWEEN 10 AND 15 HOURS.IF YOU WANT TO TAKE SHORT CUTS YOU CAN LESSEN THE TIME BY A THIRD.
