| Lower unit oil chemical reaction????? |

Joe crazy idea??? Do you think maybe after 5yrs of sleeping that oil in lower unit would leave some kind of reaction to new oil that was put prior to last season,therefore when i drained it last winter looked like water in it ?? Evinrude |

Gary.... Anything's possible. I've even gave some thought to oil laying still, up against the bare aluminum for that length of time (similar coloring). I'd suggest checking the lube after use (after sitting overnight), say every other trip or so.

use to flush car motors with kero , but dont think good idea with this.Too much to replace |

Gary.... Kero is not a good idea as it has a cutting base. Mineral spirits is a better choice.
