| Boil exhaust risers or buy new ones? |

I have a 350 fresh water cooled Marine Power chevy with the round top exhaust risers. They are only four yrs. old and already plugged up with salt. Are these type of risers harty enough to go another couple years if I clean them out or should I buy new ones. I've heard these types of risers are a real bitch! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |

Click on Keyword Search in the left frame and then type in: riser. There has been some good discussions previously that might help you.
There is also a good article on risers and manifold corrosion at: yachtsurvey.
Hopefully someone else will answer you with some specifics here too.
