Hi,
I found a good deal on a 2001 Johnson, brand new still in the crate. The dealership is a few hours away, not somewhere that I am familier with or where I'd like to have it serviced. After poking around, to compare prices, at a couple local shops that sell Johnsons I found that they had very little in stock and one shop actually told me that Bombardier was such a pain to deal with that they had no Johnson engines on order, wouldn't be getting anything new until at least April, and that they may not be selling parts, doing warranty work, or dealing with Bombardier for much longer. The shop that told me that is considered by many boaters to be the best as far as stock and customer service goes in the area... This makes me a little nervous about buying one, does anyone else know anything about this?
