what kind of water seperator and location i have a 1989 hydra-sport 1750cc with a 1989 140 evinrude |

Any fuel water separator would work, Racor is the best. Located it as close to the motor as possible and change filter seasonally. Good place is under the transom, if enough room to get to and service, and not below the level of the fuel tank. When I change the filter, I always pour the fuel into a clear container and inspect for water and sediment. It is a wise investment. |
