I recently purchased a 1995 40hp Force outboard. Runs ok but is very loud! Upon taking off the cowl I discovered no baffle plate on the carb air horn. Is this normal? I once heard that most of the noise created by an outboard came from the carb air inlet. Any feedback would be appreciated. |

This motor does not have a carb baffel.the reason your motor is loud is because you do not have thru prop exaust very normal for your motor

i having problems with my 1994 70hp force tilt and trim. sometimes it will not trim up or down, think the problem might be electrical in the control switch on the side of throttle handle.please help.kenny |
