Am contemplating which motor would make the most sense to marinize for a 10,000lb boat.
Need an honest 100hp and this International looks like a good candidate,

Fairly light and of enough displacement .

Combustion System Direct Injection
Cooling System Capacity [engine only] 18 U.S. qt (17 L)
Lubricating -- System Capacity 13 U.S. qt (12 L)
Total Engine Weight [dry] 790 lb (358 kg)
Dimensions

Performance Data

Rated HP 200 (149 kW)
Rated RPM 2700
Gov. Spd. RPM 3000

Does anyone have any info on this motor?

I would recommend buying an already marinized engine. Things to consider; are what are going to do for a transmission? The exhaust system should be a wet exhaust in order to comply with coast guard regulation’s, if dry stack, again are their other things to consider (insulation, noise and more) Cooling system, keel cooler, direct raw water or indirect and are the parts to convert available. I would recommend getting a copy of the appropriate regulations i.e.; USCG or Canadian Coast Guard depending on where you are located.
By getting an engine that has been designed for marine applications these things have already been considered for you. You can always find good rebuilt marine engines like Yanmar, Perkins, Volvo Penta, Cat, Detroit, Ford Laymen and many more. Good luck
