I am embarking on a project boat for my BMW 220 I/O and have my construction details down as to frame, chines, materials, transom angle etc but would like a bit of info on transom thickness and desired material. This is a wooden hull from start to finish. Frame and chines is oak, bottom is 3/4 in press. treat. ply. rest is mahogany ply.

Thanks. I will use that as was thinking of two laminated (glued) pieces of 3/4 in marine ply but can add another 1/2 in mah. on outside to bring up to 2 in. and have finished appearance to boot rather than planned epoxy paint finish. Mahogany grain with marine spar finish much better.
First time project like this and that's why I am in here....advice...Thanks again Bondo, sounds good. Beemer in Ontario
