i have a 1990 mastercraft prostar 190 and it has the indmar ford 351. it makes kind of a backfire through the carb its not a consistant pop its only once in a while or sometimes when i'm taking off for a 5mph zone. it doesn't do it at all when i have it started on the trailor or when its idoling. to me it feels like carb problem... i took off the float bowls and cleaned them out, they were dirty in there, and that helped alot but its still doing it... any suggestions??? thanks, dustin |

Ayuh,...
It's running Lean under Load...
Completely Rebuild the Carb,.... You might be able to save it....
Otherwise,.... Replace it....
And,...
Be Sure the rest of the Fuel System is up to snuff.... |
