I was just given a Sea King 5 made by Clinton
Model K500-3108-C
Type XTV 52250
S/N 1053467
I am told it currently does not run, and I haven't started to look at it yet, but I'd love to find out when it was built. Anything that looks like a manual would be a great help as well -- specific to this model or generic to the line, anything is more than I have!

I've scoured the posts, and there seems to be a few really knowledgeable folks on these engines. Here's hoping the help here will help me get it going!

My email is on yahoo's service, and my name is sailor11767. You know how it should be written, but I hope this fools the spam-bots.

Thanks!

Harry

Hi!

Any luck yet? We just bought one, air cooled 5 horse as well. Still trying to find out what oil type, marine or bike, to use and ratio thereof.

Cheers!

Benjamin.

Made in 1975. Use TCW-3 marine oil in all outboards even if they are air cooled. Try this for a source of manuals and parts: http://discount-marine-parts.com/dmp_manuals.html
