Greetings,Iam new to the board,I have a 5hp Sears Eska with a Techumseh motor.I bought a new powerhead from Certifed parts for it plus some odds and ends.Its shakedown it ran great for 2hrs,went home and put it away,the other day my daughter and I went fishing ran most of the day,then it died and won't restart.Iam getting spark,it won't fire even putting gas in the plug hole,I did a compression test and got 70-75 on the gauge.The reason I replaced the powerhead was I had low comp.What should I have for compession?Iam wondering if that is why it won't fire,seems like it should on the gas.The gas is fresh,I even tried put some from my chainsaw can just to see if I had bad fuel.Any idea's? |
