hi i have a sea king 7.5 outboard s/s 18x 52179b and mobel no is vwb 52179b how can i find out what year it was made and to get parts and a manual for it thanks |

vwb is a Chrysler. They produced them for Wards for years. They were a pretty good motor except for the pop up plastic starter gear. Most are started with the knot in the rope trick. Sorry I have no model year for you. They changed little except the ignition over the years. |

Try Evinrude or Johnson parts too! They work with this motor.Don't ask shops for SeaKing parts, they;ll look at you crosseyed. Ask for parts from Evinrude and Johnson that are comparable. You may have to take the part in to get a perfect fit. |
