Late 60's Chrysler 20 HP outboard.
Now that I got the engine running. I noticed one detail.
How do I shut it off?
Looking in the book, they only list the wiring diagram of the electastart wiring diagrams for the 20 hp. My wiring looks more like the 9.5 HP.. Just the points and condensers.
Can I wire in a stop stop switch like the 9.5's? or do I just pull the choke and let it choke itself out? |

You can wire a kill switch, but unless it's a double switch you can only kill one cylinder, so it will probably keep running. I think chrysler intended to choke it to killit. |

I think I have it figured out..
A double pole, single throw should take care of it. |
