Some time ago, I saw some ads for an electric outboard motor, with a detachable powerhead. The electric powerhead could be removed and replaced by a gasoline powerhead. In addition, the gas powerhead could be mounted on a stand, with the electric powerhead beneath it, so that the gasoline powerhead could drive the electric powerhead (thus turning the whole assembly into a small generator to recharge your boat batteries.
Has anyone else heard of this, or is my imagination taking over?
Who made this unit, and is it still available or still in production?
Thanks

I am looking for a carburetor for a Cruise and Carry 6600. Mine broke off where it attaches to the engine. Would Shindaiwa have the part as it is labeled as such?

Just bought a model 6600. What HP is it? Seems like a 2 or 2.5. Runs good, paid $20 at a yard sale. Think it will push my coleman crawdad ok?
