I am having a lot of difficulty figuring out what kind of engine I have. Below is a link to the Mastercraft forum where I am a member. Anyone that wouldn't mind taking a look at it for me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks http://mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=31399 |

Yes small block Ford of 260, 289 or 302 displacement. Interceptor NO GT21R523109 might make it a 65 which would be a 289 or a 75 which would make it a 302. The R says it rotates opposite a car engine. Good looking engine! |

Thanks for the info. I don't have any use for the engine, so I guess I'm going to try to sell it. Any ideas on an approximate value and forum for selling? ebay maybe??? |

That is most likely a '65 vintage engine based on the water pump design. Either 260 or 289 CID. It may have come originally in a Century Resorter or Trojan yachts used Fords in pairs in their cruisers. You might try the Century Boat Club or AA marine in Michigan. If it turns free and if you could make it fire off, I'm sure you'll find a taker. Value just depends on how bad someone wants a mill to match their classic boat.. |
