I am looking for any info on my Gray Marine Model 175. Engine # H7320. It is in my 1942 Century Sea Maid 171 Split Cockpit 17' Runabout. I am told it is a 1950s motor. I am trying to find out the year, who made the motor and any more info that someone may have avaiable. I am also in need of a manual for this motor. Thanks in advance. Steve

Steven,

Is it a 6 cylinder engine?

Model 175:
  • 6 cylinder
  • 4 x 4 13/16
  • 363 cid
  • 175HP @ 3400RPM
  • Weight w/ direct drive 1050 lbs
  • w/ reduction drive 1250

I don't know the year. Maybe someone else knows. I would guess late 1950's to early 1960's, but that is just based on the model, not the serial number.

That model is covered in the Maintenance Handbook for 4 & 6 cylinder engines.
