I need help. I have a 1961 century resorter. The eng. tag reads gray marine V8-188, eng. Id no. S8728.The eng. has two side draft carter carbs. Does anyone know where to find casting no's, the only no's Ive found were on the port eng. side just below the head reading C8R8354. Looking to find who the manufacturer was to get eng. specs. The eng. is coupled to a hamilton marine jet drive manufactured by turbocraft model 2233 ser. 2889-3 Does anyone know if this is a rare setup? All other 60's resorters Ive seen have been prop driven .Any help would be great. |
