I AM RESTORING A 1930'S DEE WITE 17FT RUNABOUT OVER IN THE U.K.WITH THIS ENGINE FITTED FROM NEW-CAN'T FIND ANY EXACT REF TO THIS MODEL NUMBER CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE WHICH MANUAL APPLIES AND WHAT ITS ORIGINAL HP RATING WAS? ANY IDEAS WHAT PROPER ENGINE COLOUR WAS? WHAT ARE CORRECT ORIGINAL SPARK PLUGS? ALL HELP MUCH APPRECIATED THANKS CHRIS |

Chris.
There is a link on the top of this page for engine manuals. Click on the link and then click on the Gray Marine link. The first five manuals are for the 4's. I found that most manuals cover all the engines, spark plugs maybe not color. If you google dee wite you get quite a few hits. When I was looking for a manual for my Gray Marine engine the board moderator for this site was very helpful on selecting the right one. You might want to contact him. |
