Last season I had my motor shut down when I came to idle. Would not restart. Changed FCC filter, sat for a few weeks, fired up ok. Ran about 3 miles and shut down again. Stored for winter. This season, spend $1300.00 trouble shooting, replacing low pressure fuel pump. Rand 1st day for 2-3 hours, no problem. Sat a week. Ran 2nd day for 6-7 hours, hi speed, lo speed troll, idle, no problem. Next day I didn't get 100 yards out of the dock and she shut down. Backfired, will start, but won't stay running. Any Ideas?

they had a recall on the fuel pumps, which you changes
i would get a fuel pressure tester and test
i would find a shop that they can plug it into a computer
where are u located? |

Engine misses, runs rough and/or backfires?
1.Ignition system malfunction
2.Plugged fuel filters
3.Faulty fuel pump
4.Plugged or kinked fuel lines or fuel tank vent
5.Anti-siphon valve faulty
6.Flame arrestor dirty
