'86 Supra TS6M 351 Distributor ?????

McGowen New member Username: artmac Post Number: 1 Registered: 07-2009 Posted on Thursday, July 09, 2009 - 05:16 pm:    OK, I feel dumb but here goes - I want to order an electronic conversion (get rid of pts/cond) for my subject boat but I am not sure which distributor cap I have. The choices are clip and screw (sounds kinky) but my distributor has clips that hook part way up the cap and screw in at the base of the cap. Please advise which type distributor cap I have. Also, which is considered the better electronic kit - Petronix or Sierra? Does anyone have the correct part no. for my boat/distributor cap/engine? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!   A. C. On their electronic conversion part page they said Prestolite "clip down cap" (clips & screws). So, I know which electronic conversion to order and what type of distributor I have. I am sure you guys were real close to answering my query.
