I am replacing my old starter and my new marine starter has 3 poles on the selinoid 2 large ones and one smaller one with a 6" pigtail on it that says"connect to existing switch lead". All my old starter had going to it was a heavy power lead from the starter relay. Anyone know what or where the pigtail wire goes to? Thanks |

You can just jump your small terminal to the terminal that your old heavy power lead went to with the power cable from relay or use the relay to operate the solenoid on the starter (small term.) And connect the heavy lead to the starter like you would on a car or truck starter |
