With the trans in neutral the prop shaft rotates slowly in forward. I disconnected the shifter cable and moved the trans lever until the shaft stopped rotating. Is this the correct way to set the cable/ netural? Is there a neutral detent on the lever? This test was done in the water. The trans works fine just creaps in forward.
