I replaced impeller, back-flushed system, and my 95 Hydrodyne is still overheating. Someone said that I might have connected the water pump incorrectly. I followed the way that it was on but now I am wondering if the guy who checked my impellar at the end of last season put it on wrong. Can someone PLEASE direct me to a diagram so I can see which way the waterpump hoses go? |

Cant help with a diagram. I have a 95 Nautique that was doing the same. Turned out to be a crack in the fresh water intake strainer (plastic housing). Pickup pump was sucking air and causing overheat. |

Take off the hose on the output of the pump and see if it pushes water. The pump will fit upside down and suck push water the wrong way. |
