I replaced impeller, back-flushed system, and my 95 Hydrodyne is still overheating. Someone said that I might have connected the water pump incorrectly. I followed the way that it was on but now I am wondering if the guy who checked my impellar at the end of last season put it on wrong. Can someone PLEASE direct me to a diagram so I can see which way the waterpump hoses go?

Cant help with a diagram. I have a 95 Nautique that was doing the same. Turned out to be a crack in the fresh water intake strainer (plastic housing). Pickup pump was sucking air and causing overheat.

Take off the hose on the output of the pump and see if it pushes water. The pump will fit upside down and suck push water the wrong way.
