I have a tapping in my engine (351 HO GT40). I have a 1997 Correct Craft. I have been told not to worry about it because my oil pressure is cool, my temp is cool, I haven't lost any power, and it doesn't smoke. I have been told the valves can't be individually adjusted because they are in a rack which is adjust via schims. I am not a engine guy so any help or info would help |

It is a tap. When you give it throttle the tap either goes away or you can't hear it. The boat is a 1997 with only 111 hrs on it when I got it. The boat has never been run that much. I was told to change the oil and that might take the tap out but it did not. |
