HI, HAVE 300 hP ho pcm ENGINE INSTALLED IN 1994 SHAMROCK 22' STALKER-- HAS KEEL. RPM MAX IS 4000 AND I AM TOLD THAT IT SHOULD TURN 4500 OR GREATER. DOES ANYONE HAVE IDEAS ON THIS ?? tHANKS !!

This is about right. Mine tops out about 3800. I think the engine will last longer. You can increase rpm with a smaler prop but it may not gain MPH. Ford engines run best in the low rpm and generate more torque at that range than a Chevy. It is good for boats but not as good for cars.
