Hello everyone.I'm new to the forum and need some help with my sea water pump. I have a 4.5 westerbeke, model BCGTC. I have to replace the pump. My Gen uses a water pump with a 1/2 cam in it. The marine dealer I use has a Johnson pump with a 1/4 cam in it. Dimension wise the pumps look the same. The cam is the only difference. The parts guy said westerbeke uses Johnson pumps. The question is can I use the 1/4 cam pump in my application. Thank's for any help you can give me
