HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD CORROSION PROBLEMS WITH JOHN DEERE MARINE ENGINES ????? Having installed 2 J.D. 6068TFM engines in a new vessel there have been terrible problems with corrosion even though the correct J.D. Koolgard coolant was used right from day 1 . Both engines have corroded through at the pump housings and have now been removed from the vessel and replaced by Iveco engines .There has been absolutely no assistance from JD in this matter . Their Agent insists that there have been no other instances of this type of problem with JD Marine Engines . Does anyone else know differently ??? Please all join if you have had similar problems . |
