I just bought a classic wooden boat with a newer Chrysler Nissan engine (supposedly 1977 but by the looks of it much newer). The papers say it is a six cylinder, 105 hp, CN6-88 with 1600 hours on it. Haven't found anything on the engine to varify yet and haven't found anything in my Internet searches confirming that model number. I'm new to diesel engines so looking for maintenance schedules, advice, manual, etc. Thanks |

Hi Ken, The motor you have is CN6-33. It is the SD33 Nissan out of the Nissan Patrol 4WD marinized by Chrysler. Cheers, Mike |

Hi Mike, Thanks for taking the time to respond. I finally came realize it must be a CN6-33 though I couldn't find anything on the engine. Must have been a typo in the specs. Ken |

If there is anything you want to know about it, just ask. I have got one in my 24ft aluminium cruiser with a turbo, running a Chrysler 300 leg. It is 25 years old and still going strong. Cheers, Mike |
