I have a Lister sr2 motor but the gearboxes (x2) are all in parts and many parts missing, could anyone tell me what non Lister gearbox could be adapted to the Lister. The boat it comes from is an old life-boat which im putting in the water for pleasure/fishing. Any help on this subject would be a great,

Fitting a gearbox is not the problem, it is the bellhousing that is the problem. If you fit a Hurth you will want a HBW100L or 150L if your flywheel revolves clockwise when looking at it.Hurth gearboxes are right or left handed. I also have two SR2 engines and gearboxes one as spares. Email me if you wish. |
