The stop cable from the cockpit pull to the slide stop on the engine is binding. The inner cable is intact. The sheath is rusted from chafe over the yeare and is collapsing when stop button is pulled. Is the outer sheath replaceable or might I just better replace the entire cable from the button to the engine and where would I find the parts?

Replace the whole assembly. Try online chandlers and companies such as Morse, teleflex and fw murphy

thank you for your input....I did proceed with the removal of the cable and was prepared to do just what you suggest however noting the inner cable was not deformed in any way I located a 108" (9ft) teleflex cable and was able to use just the sheath and with delicate procedure completed the reinstall without compromise.
tremendous savingj in time and expense but once in a while you win one.

The threaded end of the stop cable is all that is left protruding on the engine control panel. Can anyone tell me where to get a replacement T handle ?

Thanks,
Mort
