Used/Rebuildable Engines

Author Message   Ric Tauson New member Username: sailorric Post Number: 1 Registered: 07-2009 Posted on Thursday, July 30, 2009 - 11:51 am:    I have recently removed a 40 hp 4-108 (with a Hurth transmission) from my boat and am replacing it with a different engine. When I removed the engine it was running well, but was leaking fuel into the oil (I believe through the injection pump). I also have a second 4-108 (also in running condition) that was removed from service about two years ago, which I have been holding as a source of parts. I wish to sell both of these engines and have no idea how to go about doing so or what a reasonable price might be. Looking for information.
