I have a fresh 4.108 rebuild. Unfortunately the block is different than original along with a mix of different plumbing parts. 1. Heat exchanger is non original so exhaust is different and has to be redone to match boats exhaust hose. Trans cooler is differnt. Oil cooler is not in place. Salt water pump needs to be rebuilt.The motor was run on the hard with a car radiator attached and ran great. Can anyone suggest where to start. I believe I can replace the fresh water header and replumb that. I'll need to adapt the oiler cooler to match plumbing, I guess the heat exchanger is the one piece I'd prefer to not have to replace.

Hello, you have no heat exchanger. The part identified as heat exchanger in picture is exhaust manifold. On this engine it is cooled with anti-freeze. You need a Perkins parts manual and work shop manual. Sen-Dur make an after market heat exchanger.
