I am living at Curacao with very salty water. What is better for the Perkins 4.108M, to cool directly with salt water or indirectly with a heatexchanger. Second: is a anode on the engineblock necessary wenn the boat is made of fiber/epoxy? |

It is better to cool indirectly with a heat exchanger. You can never have to many anodes. I was in Curacao earlier this year. If you are in Spanish harbor you will want to clean the heat exchanger biannually or at least annually. |
