I have a perkins 4108 in a 38' Cabo Rico that goes about 4.5 kts at 1800RPM sounding good. Anything over 2000RPM to get more speed causes noise and vibration. What RPM should be normal and what speed can I expect? Hoping for 6.5kts without making the engine fuss. |
